Announcement by CPS

From July 19-24, 2014, the International Political Science Association will hold its World Congress in Montréal under the theme "Challenges of Contemporary Governance". We invite you to share your research on innovative answers to the questions of citizens, their political, associative and socio-economic representatives and the policy makers who are working constantly to improve the quality of governance.

The website for the 23rd World Congress of Political Science is accepting panel and paper proposals. Please visit the website http://ipsa.org/events/congress/montreal2014/theme for complete details on the congress and its main themes as well as important deadlines and submission guidelines.

The deadline to submit open-panel submissions has been extended to July 11. This deadline applies to all open panel submissions. Please note the difference below for open versus closed panels:

Open panel - Panel does not have any papers and is open to paper submissions once the panel is accepted. Closed panel - Panel includes invited papers (paper authors are already scheduled to present to the panel). Anyone can submit a panel/abstract. You do not need to be a member of IPSA. In order to submit a panel/abstract, however, you must hold an IPSA online account. You will asked to create an IPSA account when you submit a panel/abstract if you do not already have one.
